Social Engagement
The Black Isle Men's Shed, or should it be called Community Shed, provides a meeting place for those of us now retired or are no longer in a working environment through health issues or otherwise. You may be missing the routine of work and the camaraderie that a workplace provides so the Shed offers a safe and welcoming environment where you can sit and chat over a coffee or tea and the occasional chocolate biscuit.
In addition to the range of practical activities (woodworking, crafting etc.), we also organise talks, demonstrations and we try if possible to respond to any particular interest of our members
There is also the opportunity to participate in the preparation and construction of Shed Projects for the community should you have particular skills or interested in learning new ones. You can, of course, use the workshop facilities for personal use.
