Dear Members
I had hoped we would manage to keep going till the Christmas break, but the last 24 hours have shown just how seriously the NHS is being affected by the current spike of new variant cases on top of the delta variant. Nicola Sturgeon has advised no unnecessary social contact on the run up to Christmas in the hope that families will be able to get together for that.
The Committee and Session Leaders have agreed that we should close down the shed premises at Avoch as of today so there will be no more sessions there until after the break. It's frustrating but essential. I'll continue to update you as the situation becomes clearer and hope it won't be too long before we can get back to the new normal.
